Please plan to join the Association for Community Design, the Housing and Custom Residential (H&CR) Knowledge Community and AIA Arizona for a symposium focusing on innovative and collaborative efforts that are tackling housing affordability and creating thriving residential developments and communities.
We are excited about the presentations and workshops at the symposium which will address topics such as: mixed-income developments; design and advocacy; sustainable and inclusive design for affordable housing; housing design education in the schools; among others. A half-day of tours to residential sites that illustrate the ideas and issues covered in the symposium will take place on the final day. We hope you are excited as well.
A symposium overview is listed below, we will announce speakers as they are confirmed and any changes to the schedule as we know about them. Participants will be eligible to earn up to 10 AIA Continuing Education System (CES) learning units for attending this symposium.

We are also offering a travel and room share service this year through Space Share. Sharing rides and rooms is not only a good way to meet other people attending the conference, but also a great way to save money and lessen the environmental impact of our conference. We hope you'll find this service useful, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
