An Equity Audit of the Rose Fellowship: Current Screen Captures

Effenus Henderson, HenderWorks, Inc and Mark Matel, Enterprise Community Partners

Thursday, June 24th
1:00pm - 2:00pm EST / 10:00am - 11:00am PST

Co-sponsored by the AIA Housing and Community Development Knowledge Committee

Session Description:

In 2020, Enterprise Community Partners anticipated celebrating our 20 year anniversary of the Rose Fellowship. Like many organizations we had to table our plans for the health and safety of our families, host partners and fellows. We took this as an opportunity to pause and reflect on where the Rose Fellowship program stood in our equity journey. Through partnerships with NOMA, we were provided an opportunity to perform an equity audit, a comprehensive benchmarking process that assesses diversity, equity, and inclusion for schools, nonprofit organizations, and companies. We partnered with Henderworks, Inc. to help us unpack our journey. We want to share and provide a window to the field of what this process looks like and to give a perspective of where we are as a program and our aspirations to expand on our work.
